World Mental Health Day is October 10 and provides an opportunity to not only focus on your own mental health but also take action to reduce stigma. Mental health affects every aspect of life – how we think, feel, act, function at work and relate to others. While some factors affecting mental health are beyond our control, there are habits we can choose that nurture our mental health and improve our overall quality of life. This webinar will also provide some mental health education and suggestions on ways to be an advocate, stamping out stigma.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Define mental health and understand its pivotal in overall well-being.

  2. Identify some mental health trends and choose ways to stamp out stigma.

  3. Assess your own mental health.

  4. Choose some things you can do to nurture your mental health.

  5. Recognize mental health concerns that may require professional help.

  6. Know when and how to leverage your Empathia Services benefits to help yourself and others.
